Signal Auto V35 Skyline - Gs Up Hos Down

1. Dion paints the base color for the kandy on the skyline with a combination of Solar Gold, and sunset pearl.

2. With the basecolor sprayed, Craig lays out the Signal logo as the main graphic to be sprayed House of Kolor silver diamonds by Dion.

3. Craig uses a gear stencil, and some black basecoat to airbrush in the logo.

4. Using a cut up wisk broom, and some oriental blue kandy, Craig continues the airbrush effects throughout the car's design.

5. Dion masks out the flames over the previous graphic, in preparation to ghost in some HoK Pale Gold Diamonds.

6. Using a mixture of Kandy tangerine, Craig Airbrushes in the dropshadows of the flames, and logo graphic.

7. After Dion applies 6 coats of kandy tangerine to the Skyline, Craig lays out the bare engine mural, and applies a little realistic fire.

8. After sanding the clear smooth, Craig pinstripes the edge of the logo graphic with a violet slash design.

12. Craig managed to get the crew to put together the skyline just long enough for everyone to pose with it. After the paintwork was done, there were still plenty of things to hook up in time for the skylines first Drift.

14. At the Tokyo Autosalon, Craig does a monochromatic mural for the carbon fiber race hood that will be going on the Skyline. The entire design was done freehand with black, and white House of Kolor urethane, as the crowd watched.
